TAB MAK intends to sell the electricity on the free market, North Macedonia's Energy and Water Services Regulatory Commission said in a statement on Tuesday.

The requested duration of the licence is 35 years.

The Energy and Water Services Regulatory Commission granted a licence to the company last year for trial operations at the two solar power plants. Each of the power plants have a production capacity of 4 MW.

TAB MAK is fully owned by Slovenian car battery manufacturer Tovarna Akumulatorskih Baterij (TAB).
