N. Macedonia's Stopanska Banka proposes higher dividend on preferred stock

April 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Stopanska Banka Skopje [MSE:STB] said on Tuesday that it plans to distribute a gross dividend of 6 denars ($0.10/0.098 euro) per share for 2024 to the holders of its preferred shares, up from the 5 denars payout a year earlier.

Under the plan, Stopanska Banka will distribute a total of 1.36 million denars as dividend for 2023, the bank said in a bourse filing.

Its shareholders will vote on the proposal on May 31.

The bank's net profit reached 3.5 billion denars in 2023, up 46.3% year-on-year

Stopanska Banka's shares traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) at an average price of 1,569 denars on Tuesday.
