SKOPJE (North Macedonia), November 8 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based retailer Skopski Pazar said that its net profit jumped to 32.9 million denars ($590,000/535,00 euro) in the first nine months of 2019 from 8 million denars in the same period of last year.
Skopski Pazar's operating revenue edged up 1% year-on-year to 233.2 million denars in the review period, the company said in an interim financial statement earlier this week.
The company lowered its operating expenses by an annual 8% to 180.5 million denars in the review period. Personnel expenses fell 11% to 73.6 million denars, while expenses for hired services dropped 13% to 18.6 million denars.
