March 26 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based minerals mining company Sileks [MSE:SIL] said on Tuesday its net profit rose 272% on the year to 65.8 million denars ($1.15 million/1 million euro) in 2023.
Sileks’ operating revenue dropped 2.3% to 1.16 billion denars, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse.
The company's operating expenses fell 5.2% to 1.1 billion denars in 2023.
Domestic sales decreased to 426.4 million denars in 2023, from 432.8 million denars in 2022. Sales abroad also decreased, from 721.2 million denars in 2022 to 649.6 million denars in 2023.
Sileks’ shares last traded on the Skopje bourse on June 15, 2023, at an average price of 70 denars.
