April 23 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia rose by 13.1% year-on-year in February, following a 12.9% yearly increase in January, the national statistical office said on Tuesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage added 16.5% on the year in February, reaching 39,276 denars ($680.3/638 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, by 24.9%, was recorded in the public administration and defence and compulsory social security sectors, followed by the administrative and support activities with a 22.5% increase.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia decreased 1.1% in February.
