In nominal terms, the average net wage added 16.4% on the year in December, reaching 39,998 denars ($704.2/649 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 27.5% - was registered in the public administration and defence and compulsory social security sectors, followed by the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sectors with a rise of 27.1%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia went up 4% in December.
