N. Macedonia's real net wage rises 3.4% y/y in July

SKOPJE (North Macedonia), September 23 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 3.4% year-on-year in July, after growing by 3.9% in June, the national statistical office said.

In nominal terms, the average net wage in North Macedonia added 4.3% on the year to 25,104 denars ($445/404 euro) in July, Makstat said in a statement late on Friday.

The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, of 10.6%, was registered in healthcare and social work activities, followed by accommodation and food with a rise of 9.8%.

On a monthly comparison basis, the average nominal net wage in North Macedonia edged down 0.4% in July.
