November 23 (SeeNews) - The real net wage in North Macedonia decreased 5% year-on-year in September, after falling 4.7% the previous month, the national statistical office said on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage added 12.8% on the year in September, reaching 32,553 denars ($545/529 euro), Makstat said in a statement.
The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms - by 19.1% - was registered in the arts, entertainment and recreation sector, followed by the accommodation and food services sector with 18.8% rise.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage in North Macedonia rose by 0.6% in September.
