November 15 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based mineral water and soft drinks producer Pelisterka [MSE:LOZP] said that its net profit grew to 9 million denars ($161,000/146,000 euro) in the first nine months of 2019 from 2.5 million denars in the same period of last year.
Total operating revenue fell by an annual 12% to 287.2 million denars in the January-September period of the year, Pelisterka said in an interim financial statement earlier this week.
Domestic sales decreased 12% to 252.2 million denars, while sales abroad were 7% lower at 32.2 million denars.
Pelisterka's operating expenses fell 20% to 250.1 million denars in the review period.
Expenses for materials declined 16% to 111.5 million denars, while personnel costs rose 10% to 42.1 million denars.
