April 21 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Osiguruvanje Makedonija - Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) [MSE:KJUBI] said on Thursday it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a total gross dividend of 100 denars ($1.76/1.6 euro) per share for 2019 and 2020.
The insurer plans to distribute 71.7 million denars as combined dividend for 2019 and 2020, it said in a bourse filing.
The proposal will be put to the vote at a shareholders meeting scheduled for May 25.
Osiguruvanje Makedonija paid a gross dividend of 62 denars per share for 2018.
The insurer's net profit edged down 0.8% year-on-year to 55 million denars in 2021.
Its shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on December 29, at an average price of 1,131 denars.
Osiguruvanje Makedonija, set up as a state-owned insurer in 1945, became part of Austria's Vienna Insurance Group in 2013.
