N. Macedonia's Makpetrol to pay higher dividend for 2023

May 29 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Wednesday that it will pay a gross dividend of 3,700 denars ($65.2/60.2 euro) per share for 2023, higher than the year before, after receiving its shareholders' nod for the payout.

The company will distribute a total of 374.2 million denars as dividend for last year, Makpetrol said in a bourse filing.

Makpetrol distributed a gross dividend of 3,300 denars per share for 2022.

The company recorded a 40% year-on-year decline in net profit for 2023, totaling 770.7 million denars.

Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred filling stations across North Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.

Makpetrol's shares last traded at an average price of 78,353 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on Tuesday, the latest available bourse data showed.
