March 15 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] said on Friday it expects to generate a net profit of 873.1 million denars ($15.4 million/14.2 million euro) in 2024, up 13% compared with a year earlier.
The company anticipates its total revenue to increase 6% on the year to 32.3 billion denars, whereas its total expenses are projected at 31.4 billion denars in 2024, some 6% higher compared with the previous year, Makpetrol said in a bourse filing.
The fuel retailer expects its operating revenue to rise mostly due to planned higher margins, it said.
The company plans investments in the amount of 807 million denars in 2024, up from 366 million denars last year.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred filling stations across North Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
Makpetrol's shares traded at an average price of 66,103 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on Thursday, the latest available bourse data showed.
