Following the transaction, Makpetrol holds 11,238 of its own shares, the company said in a bourse filing.
Another bourse filing showed that Makpetrol bought the shares in one block transaction carried out on October 2 at a price of 70,000 denars ($1,336/1,133 euro) apiece.
Its shares traded at an average price of 67,727 denars on Tuesday on the stock exchange in Skopje.
In June 2019, Makpetrol launched a 200 million denars share buyback programme targeting up to 10% of its capital.
Makpetrol has a network of over 100 fuel stations across North Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
