N. Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom to pay higher dividend for 2023

May 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom's [MSE:TEL] shareholders have approved a proposal to distribute a gross dividend of 25.6 denars ($0.45/0.42 euro) per share for 2023, up from last year's payout of 19.3 denars denars per share, the company said on Thursday.

The telecommunications group will distribute as dividend a total of 2.2 billion denars, the company said in a bourse filing.

The telco's net profit increased 39% year-on-year in 2023, reaching 2.1 billion denars.

Makedonski Telekom's shares last traded at an average price of 420 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on May 29, the latest bourse data shows.
