N. Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom plans higher dividend for 2023

April 25 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonski Telekom [MSE:TEL] plans to distribute a gross dividend of 25.6 denars ($0.45/0.42 euro) per share for 2023, up from last year's payout of 19.3 denars denars per share, it said on Thursday.

Under the plan, the telecommunications group will distribute as dividend a total of 2.2 billion denars, the company said in a bourse filing.

Makedonski Telekom's shareholders will vote on the proposal at a general meeting scheduled for May 29.

The telco's net profit increased 39% year-on-year in 2023, reaching 2.1 billion denars.

Makedonski Telekom's shares last traded at an average price of 420 denars on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on April 23, the latest bourse data shows.
