N. Macedonia's Makedonijaturist plans higher dividend for 2023

March 19 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based hotel and catering services company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said it is proposing to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 200 denars ($3.5/3.2 euro) per share for 2023, higher compared with the previous year.

Makedonijaturist intends to pay out as dividend for last year a total of 81.4 million denars, it said in a bourse filing on Monday.

The proposal will be put to the vote at a general shareholders meeting of Makedonijaturist, to be held on April 17.

The company distributed a gross dividend of 129.89 denars per share paid out for 2022.

Makedonijaturist's net profit reached 96.4 million denars in 2023, significantly higher compared with 30.9 million denars booked a year earlier.

Makedonijaturist's shares last traded at an average price of 5,070 denars on March 15 on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), the latest available bourse data showed.
