Non-life insurance premiums increased 12.82% year-on-year to 11.9 billion denars in 2023, while premiums in the life insurance segment went up 9.30% to 2.5 billion denars, according to figures released by the Insurance Supervision Agency.
Triglav Osiguruvanje, part of Slovenian insurance group Triglav, had the largest market share among the non-life insurers in 2023, as its gross written premiums reached 1.5 billion denars.
In the life insurance segment, Croatia Osiguruvanje - Life held the largest market share with gross written premiums of 501.39 million denars in the year under review.
The report includes data on eleven non-life insurers and six life insurers.
