N. Macedonia's Granit shares trade in 4.4 mln denars (70,706 euro) block deal

October 19 (SeeNews) - An equity stake of 0.1% in North Macedonia's construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] traded in a 4.4 million denars ($69,544/70,706 euro) block transaction on the Skopje stock exchange, bourse data showed.

A total of 3,000 shares in Granit changed hands at 1,450 denars each in the block deal, the bourse said in a notice on Tuesday.

The parties to the deal were not disclosed.

Granit's equity capital is divided into 3,071,377 shares of 5 euro in par value each. They last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange on Tuesday, at an average price of 1,420 denars, according to the most recent bourse data available.

Skopje-based Granit was established as a state-owned company in 1952 and privatised in 1996. Its main activities include construction and rehabilitation of roads. The company owns several concrete and asphalt plants and stone quarries.
