November 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's power utility Elektrani na Severna Makedonija (ESM) said it signed a contract worth 566.4 million denars ($10.1 million/9.2 million euro), VAT included, with local diversified company Markovski Company for the purchase of a bulldozer for the mines of the REK Bitola thermal power plant.
Markovski Company was selected as the winner in a tender for the procurement, which also attracted an offer by the local company Mis-Komerc, ESM said in a notice published on the country's public procurement portal earlier this week.
ESM and Markovski signed the agreement on November 17.
REK Bitola accounts for over 72% of North Macedonia's total energy production.
