N. Macedonia's c-bank sells 9 bln denars (145 mln euro) of CB bills - table

November 17 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's central bank said it sold 8.958 billion denars ($151 million/145 million euro) worth of 35-day central bank (CB) bills at an auction on November 16, below its target.

The interest rate on the securities, which equals the central bank's monetary policy rate, was set at 4.25%, the central bank said in a statement on Wednesday.

The central bank said earlier on Wednesday it decided to raise its policy rate to 4.25%, after increasing it to 3.50% last month.
