N. Macedonia's building permits up 17.7% y/y in Sept

The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in September went up 43.8% on the year to 6.7 billion denars ($116.4 million/108.9 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.

Of the total number of permits, 186 were for new buildings, 79 were for civil engineering projects and 61 were for reconstruction projects.

Of the total, 192 permits were issued to private individuals.

During the review period, 773 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 72,274 sq m.
