SKOPJE (North Macedonia), November 11 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in September fell 2.3% year-on-year to 214, the statistical office said on Monday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in September decreased by 3.0% to 1.99 billion denars ($35.4 million/32.1 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In September, 122 permits were issued for new buildings, 25 for civil engineering projects, and 67 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 140 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 176 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 20,383 sq m.
