May 10 (SeeNews) - The main index of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), the MBI10, rose 3.18% month-on-month in April, to 7,292.01 points, as total trading turnover increased that month, the bourse said on Friday.
Turnover totalled 662.8 million denars ($11.6 million/10.8 million euro) in April, up 4.60% month-on-month, while turnover on the bourse's electronic system of trading (BEST) went down 17.36% to 381.8 million denars, the MSE said in a statement.
The number of transactions rose 3.69% month-on-month to 1,518 in April.
The MSE's market capitalisation totalled 270.2 billion denars at the end of April, up 2.51% month-on-month and 19.4% higher on an annual comparison basis.
The MBI10 stood at 5,978.51 points at the end of April 2023. Trading turnover on the MSE totalled 977.3 million denars in April last year, earlier bourse data showed.
