Consolidated revenues in the January-October period totalled 224.4 billion denars, higher than 200.5 billion denars in the like period of 2022, according to data published by the finance ministry.
Tax revenues fell to 1.4 billion denars from 1.7 billion denars.
In October alone, the budget was in surplus of 2.5 billion denars, compared to a 269 million denars deficit in October 2022.
At the end of 2022, North Macedonia's budget was in deficit of 35.5 billion denars, compared with a 38.8 billion denars gap at the end of 2021.
North Macedonia's government has projected a budget deficit of 42.8 billion denars in 2023, equivalent to 4.6% of the estimated gross domestic product (GDP).
