November 21 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of North Macedonia's commercial banks rose 10.1% year-on-year to 415.5 billion denars ($6.9 billion/6.7 billion euro) at the end of October, the central bank said on Monday.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio was 0.8% higher at the end of October, the central bank said in a statement.
Loans to the corporate sector grew 12.9% on the year, reaching 200.2 billion denars at the end of October, while loans to households came in at 213.1 billion denars, up 7.5% year-on-year.
