The government made the decision at a session on February 13, news provider Faktor reported.
In November, the country's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) gave the green light to the Public Enterprise for Railway Infrastructure Railways to raise its capital by 962.9 million denars by issuing new shares intended for the government of North Macedonia, the sole shareholder in the company.
The share capital of Public Enterprise for Railway Infrastructure Railways currently consists of 9,269,172 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1,000 denars, according to data on the Central Securities Depository.
