March 8 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's government said on Wednesday it signed an agreement worth 1.3 billion euro ($1.4 billion) with US-Turkish joint venture Bechtel - Enka for the construction of four motorway sections on the corridors VIII and X.
The motorway sections on the two corridors will have a length of about 110 kilometres combined, North Macedonia's government said in a statement.
The deal concerns the construction of motorway sections Tetovo-Gostivar, Gostivar-Bukojchani, Trebenishte-Struga-Kjafasan and Prilep-Bitola, Ejup Rustemi, director of North Macedonia's Public Enterprise for State Roads, said in the statement.
