The government will distribute 3,555 vacation vouchers of 18,000 denars each to employed citizens who live in households with combined net income of up to 50,000 denars, the economy ministry said in a press release.

Citizens can apply for vouchers from February 12 to February 29. They can be used until June 30 and between September 15 and December 1.

Economy minister Kreshnik Bekteshi noted that the primary aim of the measure is to allow people with low incomes to take vacations and simultaneously support tourist centers in expanding their activities beyond the tourist season.
