Muehlbauer breaks ground on battery machinery plant in Serbia - Vucic

February 1 (SeeNews) - Germany's Muehlbauer has started building a plant for assembling machines used in the production of battery cells and fuel cells in the northern town of Stara Pazova, president Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday.

The investment will be worth 30 million euro ($32.4 million) and a total of 150 workers will be employed at the factory, Vucic said as seen in a YouTube video posted by news agency Tanjug.

Established in 1981, Muehlbauer has facilities in the US, Germany, Slovakia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Malaysia and China. The group's main markets are mainly European countries and the US.
