The benchmark index was boosted by First Investment Bank, or Fibank, [BUL:FIB], which grew by 3.91% to 2.66 levs, and hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH], which climbed by 2.78% to 11.10 levs.

The two companies also spurred on the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The biggest gainer in both indices, however, was Zlaten Lev Holding [BUL:HLEV], which soared 19.44% to 4.30 levs.

Overall, the BGBX40 added 0.15% to 164.52 points, while the BGTR30 ended the session 0.60% higher at 814.37 points.

A 4.00% leap in investment firm HR Capital [BUL:HRC] to 2.08 levs mostly drove up the BEAMX. The index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, went up 0.26% to 95.76 points.

In comparison, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, shed 0.45% to 190.59 points after a 2.34% decline in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.50 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse plunged to 452,866 levs ($246,667/231,546 euro) on Monday from 3.5 million levs on Friday.

The top stock by turnover was IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG], which generated 96,764 levs after 1,423 shares changed hands. The company closed 0.58% lower at 68.00 levs.
