September 28 (SeeNews) - Most Romanian share indices closed lower on Friday in increased turnover, bourse data showed.

Most Romanian stocks indices drop

The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], eased 0.40% to 4,725.11 points.

The BET-BK index, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, dropped 0.19% to 990.84 points.

The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Proprietatea [BSE:FP], added 0.38% to 23,491.51 points. The composite BET-C index closed 0.17% lower at 2,616.09 points.

The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, fell 0.41% to 9,097.25 points.

BVB's equity turnover grew to 23.3 million lei ($6.6 million/5.1 million euro), including five block deals worth a combined 5.1 million lei, from 13.7 million lei on Thursday.

SIF Oltenia [BSE:SIF5] gained 0.87% to 1.392 lei in Friday's largest turnover of 6.6 million lei.

Fondul Proprietatea was the top blue chip gainer, climbing 0.57% to 0.528 lei in Friday's second-largest turnover worth 5.3 million lei.

SIF Transilvania [BSE:SIF3] depreciated the most among SIFs, losing 0.98% to 0.5585 lei in 520,100 lei turnover.

The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, decreased 0.23% to 446.64 points.

The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, inched up 0.33% to 582.29 points.

Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, picked up 0.22% to 1,427.80 points. The RASDAQ turnover surged to 263,900 lei from 155,900 lei on Thursday.
