Montenegro's YU Briv buys hotel Teuta for 6.5 mln euro - media

PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 26 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin diversified company YU Briv has acquired hotel Teuta in the Bay of Kotor from bankrupt tourism and hotel operator Onogost for 6.5 million euro ($7.9 million), local media reported.

YU Briv was the sole bidder in a tender for the purchase of the hotel located in the town of Risan, broadcaster Radio Jadran reported on Thursday.

YU Briv commercial director Dejan Bujkovic said the plan is to turn Teuta into a four-star hotel with investments next year seen at 4.0 million euro.

Onogost went bankrupt in 2012.

YU Briv is active in construction, engineering, production of building materials and equipment, trade, transportation and tourism.
