Montenegro’s Synergy starts building 1.27 mln euro hydro plant - media

PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 5 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin company Synergy has launched the construction of the small hydro power plant (SHPP) Vrelo, an investment of 1.27 million euro ($1.63 million), local media reported.

The power plant, located in the municipality of Bijelo Polje, will have an installed capacity of 612.3 kilowatts and its average electricity output is projected at 2.37 gigawatts hours, the RTCG (www.rtcg.me) broadcaster reported over the weekend.

Montenegro granted Synergy the permit to build the Vrelo power plant in May.
