October 31 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 4.6% year-on-year in September, after increasing by 6.5% a month earlier, official figures showed.

On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover declined by a real 16% in September, after growing by 12.3% in August, according to data published by the country's statistical office, Monstat.

Calculated in current prices, retail sales grew by 4.6% on the year in September after rising by 6.4% in August.

Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 3.4% in 2018 after rising by 3.3% in the previous year.
