Montenegro's rail operator ZPCG 9-mo loss widens

November 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegrin state-controlled rail transport operator Zeljeznicki Prevoz Crne Gore (ZPCG) said its net loss in the first nine months of 2017 widened to 816,783 euro ($967,227) from 66,600 euro in the like period of last year.

The revenue of the company went down 15.6% on the year to 5.3 million euro, while operating costs fell 4.1% to 6 million euro, ZPCG said in a financial statement filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.

Operating loss totalled 710,517 euro, versus an operating profit of 6,473 euro in the first nine months of last year, ZPCG said.

The Montenegrin state directly controls a 90.79% stake in the capital of ZPCG.
