Montenegro’s November power consumption rises

PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 30 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in November rose by 8% on the month to 203.7 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.

Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 40%, of total power consumption in September, CEDIS said in a statement last week.

Household electricity consumption in Montenegro declined 1.7% year-on-year to 96.1 million kWh in November, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).

On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 12.2% in November, figures showed.
