The mobile penetration rate in Montenegro declined to 207.63% at the end of March from 208.64% at the end of February, figures posted on the EKIP website earlier this month showed.

Montenegro, with a population of around 630,000, has three mobile service operators - M:tel (part of Telekom Srbija group), Crnogorski Telekom (controlled by Croatia's Hrvatski Telekom), and One Crna Gora (part of Hungary's 4iG).

At the end of March, M:tel had a 38.63% share of the overall number of subscribers, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 35.64% and One with 25.73%.

The share of postpaid subscribers was 60.4% at the end of March.
