Montenegro’s Jan-Sept C/A Gap Widens 138% to Prelim 640 Mln Euro – C-bank

PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 29 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s current account deficit widened to 640 million euro in the first nine months of 2008 from 269 million euro a year earlier, preliminary central bank data showed on Monday.

The 640 million euro current account gap is equivalent to 27.5% of the country’s gross domestic product, the central bank, CBCG, said on its website.
