Montenegro’s Invest Banka turns to 9-mo net profit

PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 19 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin lender Invest Banka turned to a net profit of 28,000 euro ($35,800) in the first nine months of 2012 from a net loss of 175,000 euro a year earlier, data from the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBM) indicated.

Montenegro’s Invest Banka turns to 9-mo net profit

The bank’s net interest income rose to 1.07 million euro in the January-September period from 779,000 a year earlier, according to data published on the CBM website.

Invest Banka’s assets totaled 39.2 million euro as of September 30, up from 33.1 million euro a year earlier.

Twelve banks operate in Montenegro, a market of around 630,000.
