On a monthly comparison basis, Montenegro's consumer prices grew by 0.9% in November, after adding 1.4% in October, the statistical office said in a statement.
Annual inflation was mostly fuelled by an increase in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages by 30.2%, prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 15.5%, prices at restaurants and hotels by 15.3%, transport by 13.5%, and furniture, household equipment and routine household maintenance prices by 12.7%.
Prices of clothing and footwear went up by 7.7%, healthcare appreciated by 6.7% and alcoholic beverages and tobacco were 6% more expensive in November than a year earlier.
