On a monthly comparison basis, Montenegro's consumer prices decreased by 0.3% in October, after growing by 0.8% in September, the statistical office said in a statement.
In October, annual inflation was primarily driven by a 13.6% increase in restaurant and hotel prices and a 12.4% rise in clothing and footwear prices. Prices of housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuel prices rose by 7.8% year-on-year, transport prices 6.6%, and prices of furniture, household equipment, and household maintenance grew by 5.8%.
