The value of the procurement is set at 7 million euro ($7.5 million) with interested bidders facing a June 28 deadline to submit their bids, EPCG said in a tender notice published last week.

The procurement also includes drafting a study on the estimated environmental impact of the project, the statement read.

According to the tender terms, the main project design and the environmental impact study should be drafted within six months after the contract signing. Thereafter, construction works should take a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 months.

The Otilovici plant will be built on the Cehotina river in the central municipality of Pljevlja.

The plant will have a capacity of some 3 MW and an annual production of 11 GWh, meeting the needs of more than 1,200 households, local daily Vijesti reported on Wednesday, citing earlier information from EPCG.
