The number of unemployed, however, decreased by 2.51% year-on-year to 29,307 on October 29, the agency said in a statement on its website.
The country's jobless rate fell to 11.56% at the end of last year from 12.13% at the end of 2010. The number of unemployed in the Adriatic country of 620,000 people totalled 30,521 on December 31, 2011.
A total of 17,351 people have found a job so far this year, compared to 17,789 a year earlier, the agency said.
