Montenegro's end-May mobile subscribers up 3.9% y/y

The mobile penetration rate in Montenegro increased to 174.33% in May from 172.62% at the end of April, when the number of subscribers was 1,070,272, figures posted on the EKIP website show.

Montenegro, with a population of around 680,000, has three mobile operators - Telenor, Crnogorski Telekom and M:tel. M:tel had a 34.61% share of the overall number of subscribers at the end of May, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 34.27% and Telenor with 31.12%.

The share of postpaid subscribers was 59.36% at the end of May.
