December 31 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's jobless rate increased to 13.46% at the end of December from 11.55% a year earlier, the country's employment agency said on Monday.

Montenegro's end-Dec jobless rate rises to 13.46%

The number of unemployed rose 2.33% year-on-year to 31,232 on December 31, the government agency said in a statement on its website.

A total of 20,696 people have found a job so far this year, compared to 22,347 in the year-ago period, the employment agency said.

Montenegro has a population of around 630,000.
