November 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) grew by 0.5% year-on-year in October, after declining by 0.2% in September, the national statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Montenegro's consumer prices went up by 0.5% in October, after rising by 0.1% September, the statistical office said in a statement.
The biggest impact on the positive monthly inflation rate came from the rise in prices of clothing and footwear (up 6.4%), transport (up 1.6%) and other goods and services (up 0.2%).
On the other hand, the biggest monthly decline in prices in October was recorded in the segment of hotels and restaurants, down by 1.8%.
In 2018, Montenegro's CPI grew by 2.6% after rising by 2.4% in 2017.
