Montenegro's building permits up in Q1

Based on the building permits issued in January-March 2024, the number of planned dwellings, however, fell to 398, from 502 in the first quarter of 2023 and 736 in October-December, the statistical office said in a statement.

The total floor area of planned dwellings also fell, to 28,765 sq m in the first quarter of 2024, from 34,140 sq m in January-March 2023 and 46,827 sq m in the last three months of 2023.

In 2023, the number of building permits issued in Montenegro decreased to 358 from 368 in 2022.
