November 25 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Montenegro in the third quarter of 2019 fell by an annual 20% to 44 and by 12% quarter-on-quarter, the country's statistical office said.
Based on the building permits issued in the July-September period, the number of planned dwellings declined to 233 from 870 in the like period of last year. On a quarterly basis, it decreased by 15%, the statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
The total floor area of planned dwellings increased to 13,864 sq m, down 71.4% year-on-year.
In 2018, the number of building permits issued in Montenegro declined to 295 from 1,050 in the previous year.
