Montenegro’s Bisernica posts drop in profit in 2023

March 21 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retailer Bisernica [MNG:BISE] recorded a net profit of 42,987 euro ($46,890) last year, which is less than a third of the earnings of 130,449 euro reported for 2022, it said.

Revenues went down to 258,310 euro in 2023 from 312,927 euro in the prior year, whereas expenses rose to 204,353 euro from 161,521 euro, Bisernica said in a filing with the Montenegro Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

Bisernica's capital consists of 13,233 shares with a nominal value of 41.77 euro apiece. The company is listed on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) segment of the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
