Montenegro Sept household electricity consumption down 7.0% y/y

PODGORICA (Montenegro), October 12 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said the electricity consumption of local households fell 7.0% year-on-year to 83.7 million kilowatthours in September.

On a monthly basis, electricity consumption fell 25% in September, EPCG said in a statement posted on its website earlier this week.

The average household electricity bill in September was 31.9 euro ($41.3), 20% less than in August.

Montenegro has a population of 620,000.
